We are so booked up at the moment, that if you've come to our site to hire one of our coaches, we may not be able to take you on as a client.
Obviously I am a big believer in coaching. So if you can't hire a Rylan Coach, then I do like the idea of finding another good life coach to work with. However, finding a good coach is not so easy.
If you are unable to find a good coach, don't give up! You can at least keep feeding your mind with books, audio programs, or video programs on subjects like Personal Development and Self-Improvement.
I am not going to put together a full suggested reading list in this brief article... so if I had to limit myself to recommending only one other author/coach to you... someone who has lots of books, audio, and video programs to keep feeding your mind for awhile... I would probably have to recommend the work of... Tony Robbins.
You might hear some skeptics tell you that Tony Robbins is all hype (maybe you are one of them?). He is very good at marketing and sales. And for skeptics, yes it's true that lots of times, a really aggressive sales pitch can hide a really crappy rip-off product. But this is one time when that is not the case. If you are trying to maximize your life experience, Tony's content is excellent and worth investigating.
I spent a good deal of time training with The Anthony Robbins Companies, and I have volunteered for Tony at several of his events...
A lot of what we do at Rylan has been heavily influenced by Tony's work.
Tony has developed such a wealth of good tools and products, that if you can't find a good coach to coach you directly, Tony's products and seminars will keep you going for months. He covers many of the same types of topics that we cover at Rylan Coaching.
A minor warning... I have not had the same exact excellent experience with Tony's company's products, that I have had with the products where Tony himself delivered the content, either live or via recording. Tony even has a life coaching staff of his own, and I personally did not have such a great experience with them, so I am a little bit hesitate to recommend them. Possibly, I just had bad luck getting the wrong coach. But whether it's a live program or a recorded presentation, Tony himself knows how to deliver... as a speaker, coach, marketer, and more... well, I guess you can tell that I am a fan.
My recommendation is that if you have the chance, attend his Unleash The Power Within live seminar (tickets are around $500 to $2,500 when I last checked; prices may have changed; cheaper seats are fine; seminar is just as effective regardless of where you sit).
Or get either his Personal Power II audio collection (it's version II, not part II) ($299, I think) or his Ultimate Edge program (also $299). Ultimate Edge has more diverse content, but you can't beat the momentum building power of Personal Power II, which is a 30-day program.
For those on a budget, his book Awaken The Giant Within ($17.99 retail) has a lot of good stuff. Do the exercises in the book to get the most value from it. The AudioBook version of Awaken The Giant Within ($18 CD/$13 Audible Download) is also a pretty inspiring 90 minutes or so for a very low cost... it lacks the detail of the actual book, but part of Tony's magic is hearing his voice, so I can recommend the audio book as a great first sampling of his work.
He has a lot more excellent content than that, but those are some initial suggestions.
At the end of this article, I will post a clip of Tony in action to give you a taste of a live event...
Until next time, best of luck in all your pursuits. Don't forget: you have your own special gift in this life, so use it, live it, grow it, and share it!
